Selecting the right garnet particle size is critical for water filtration performance. Finer particles provide higher clarity; coarser particles allow faster flow. SEPPE offers custom garnet sizing – from fine grades to coarse support layers – tailored to your application.

 

Common sizes SEPPE supplies:

 

● 16/30 mesh – Our standard size. Good all-around choice for most general water and wastewater treatment.

 

● 20/40 mesh – Finer size for higher precision. Use when you need clearer effluent or finer solids removal.

● 10/20 mesh – Coarser size, available on request. For higher flow rates or as a support layer.
