Rainy Season Export Tips for SEPPE River Garnet Abrasive

Views: 0     Author: SEPPE-GARNET     Publish Time: 2026-07-07      Origin: SEPPE

SEPPE SGA River Garnet is SEPPE’s alluvial river garnet abrasive product line. It may leave the factory dry and free-flowing, but after several weeks at sea, moisture can still cause local caking, poor flow, or unstable feeding if storage, loading, or transport conditions are not well controlled.

In rainy season, moisture problems may come from humid storage, wet loading conditions, container condensation, or long outdoor storage after arrival. For blasting and waterjet users, this can lead to hopper flow problems, hose or nozzle clogging, unstable abrasive feeding, and higher downtime.

What we do:

Check Storage, Packaging and Container Condition

Before loading, garnet should be stored in a dry warehouse. Bags should be sealed and protected from damaged packaging or wet floors.

Packaging also matters. Common export options include 25kg bags, 1000kg jumbo bags, inner liner protection, and palletized loading. The right packaging depends on product grade, destination, handling method, and customer storage conditions.

The container should also be checked before loading. It should be clean, dry, free from odor, and without visible water marks. During rainy or humid weather, loading should avoid direct rain and long open-door waiting time.

What you/buyers do:

Ask Simple Questions Before Shipment

Before rainy-season shipment, buyers can ask:

Is the garnet stored in a dry warehouse?

Are the bags sealed or protected with inner liners?

Is the container checked before loading?

Can loading avoid rain or long open-door waiting?

Can the supplier provide TDS, MSDS and batch COA?

These questions help confirm whether the supplier controls both product quality and export handling.

After Arrival Also Matters

Moisture control does not end at the port. If the container stays too long in an outdoor yard, especially in hot and humid weather, moisture risk may continue.

Customers should complete customs clearance and pickup as soon as possible. After unloading, garnet should be moved into a dry warehouse and should not be stored outdoors for a long time.

SEPPE Rainy-Season Export Support

For SEPPE SGA River Garnet export orders, SEPPE pays attention to moisture control before packing, sealed export packaging, and dry warehouse storage. Before container loading, SEPPE checks packaging condition and confirms that the container interior is dry, odor-free, and without visible water marks. Photos can be kept when needed.

SEPPE can recommend suitable packaging based on product grade, order quantity, destination, and handling method. Stable packaging and dry shipment help protect garnet flowability and reduce site problems after arrival.
